USPAP Standard Rule 7-2 requires documentation of all data sources, valuation methodologies, and characteristics of the subject property relevant to the appraisal. The diminished value calculation methods employed herein utilize three independently recognized approaches: (1) Comparable Sales Approach, (2) Dealer Survey Approach, and (3) Market Perception Penalty — each weighted according to industry-standard valuation protocols.

USPAP Ethics Rule confirms that fees are not contingent on the value opinions reported. Compensation is task-based and disclosed in advance. The preparer has no present or prospective interest in the subject vehicle and no personal interest with respect to the parties involved.

USPAP Record Keeping Rule mandates retention of all supporting data, communications, and workfiles for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of this report, or two (2) years after any related legal proceeding concludes — whichever is later. Client data is held as custodian, not commodity.

Governing Principle: The preparer operates under the common law standard of restitutio in integrum — full restoration to pre-loss condition. This standard predates and supersedes administrative formulas designed to minimize carrier payout. The preparer serves claimant interests exclusively.
